Introducing
Our Practice
Dr. Molly Lanz is so excited to start this new venture. She has been treating children for almost fifteen years in the Pittsburgh area.
Dr. Lanz grew up in the South Hills and attended Upper St. Clair High School. After college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio she worked as an administrative assistant until she realized her true calling was Dentistry. Dr. Lanz was greatly influenced by her father, Dr. Richard Lanz, a pediatrician and combined her love of children with Dentistry.
Dr. Molly earned her dental degree at The Ohio State University and continued her studies in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She started her dental career working as a pediatric dentist for the United States Army in Bamberg. After several years in Europe she moved back to Pittsburgh and has been caring for the regions children ever since.
Dr. Lanz lives in Peters Township with her husband Tom, her son Ewan and their black Labrador retriever Maisie.

When to Start
Childhood Dental Treatment
According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, every child should visit a dentist around age 1 and every six months thereafter. These visits help children begin to get comfortable in a dental setting and allow dentists to observe the dental changes in a child’s mouth from an early age.
At the initial visit, Dr. Lanz will perform your baby’s first oral examination and will review infant oral hygiene. In some cases, she will clean your baby’s teeth and apply a topical fluoride. The extent of the examination will depend entirely on you and your child’s comfort level.
We strive to provide a fun and supportive environment for children and look forward to meeting you!
